Philips 42PFL3606/H is a very cheap 42 inch FullHD TV, but it has a pretty decent picture quality!

Specs:
2x HDMI, 1x SCART, 1x Component ,1x VGA/PC, 1x USB
Videosupport: MPEG2(AAC sound), .MKV
Resolution: 1080p
Update freq: 50Hz
Contrast: 5000:1
Latency/responsetime: 5ms
"Digital Crystal Clear" & "Easy Link"
Price: 2990 NOK = 550 USD

Calibration settings:
PC Mode: ON
-----------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------
"If you're planning on displaying mostly 720p and 1080p signals and don't need the motion-smoothing technology, you should switch to "PC mode". Here, fine details no longer show artificial sharpening, and therefore display more precisely and authentically."
-----------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------
Contrast: 47
Brightness: 52
Tint: Normal
Picture format: Unscaled

Standard settings are very bad, but after some adjustments to the settings it is a pretty good tv for its price. Recommended!

  • Hi guys! Can you advise me whether to buy this TV, image is good and beautiful or not, and are there by some of the problems, or is that it works well for a long time

  • @punisher101010 Hello! If you read the comments you can see that I've answered that before. This tv is not the best tv you can get, then it would cost alot more. But this tv has good picture quality, for its price and compaired with other brands and models. Philips makes great TVs, even the cheaper ones. Although the standard settings are really bad and youll have to calibrate or set my settings, in the video description, to get good picture quality.
