is there any other midi foot controller that might be useful to use along this program? maybe something a bit smaller?
-
@ausbigshow Yes I have lag as well... between the metronome and the recorded tracks. I'm still playing around with it so hope to find a solution at some point.

THANK YOU!!!

do you know how to set up ambiloop so it doesn't lag? whenever i record, it has a little bit of a lag. i'm using a usb mic, so would that be the problem?

@aarong923 With ambiloop you don't NEED a midi controller. You can do everything with just your computer. I just prefer using a foot controller so my hands are free. If you want to use MIDI with ambiloop and don't mind using your hands you could use something like the Korg NanoKontrol. I think it would work well with ambiloop as the layout is very similar to what you see on screen.

Hello, I was wondering if I needed that huge midi foot controller to loop my voice? What would you recommend that would be a simpler midi controller?

hello , please could you send me the black skin to my youtube acount mate . cheers for your time

As cool as this software is, I think I might embrace Ableton Live 8 as it now has a very cool 'Looper'. Have you tried it?
hello psxrox84 cheers for the email mate , got the skin downloaded from the ambiloop forum , it definately makes it easier to see which track you are on .Ambiloop is a great bit of software , better than the boss rc50 any day of the week . again cheers for your time !!

I just got a BOSS VE-20 a week or so ago and it works almost exactly like the RC-20 as far as the looping goes. Ambiloop just offers so much more flexibility and customization. I mainly got the VE-20 so I could add effects into my loops in Ambi and add more dimension to songs.

@carystein1. I got that pedal board for $45 on craigslist and it works GREAT. As long as you have a decent soundcard to do all the audio processing it is VERY usable in live situations. Also seeing the wave patterns you record on screen is super nice. Ambiloop A+++ more people should know about it.

@psxrox84 I've been having a hard time using this software as there isn't really any documentation. How did you do it? Could you recommend any sort of documentation, either generic or specifically for the Ambiloop product?

As far as I know there really isn't any documentation other than the yahoo group forum. I only use the very basic functions of the program and find that is enough for me. The only buttons I really use are the TAP and SET TIME for the tempo of the song, and then the RECORD. After that it's just switching between each track and adjusting volumes. I guess I just don't know exactly what you're having problems with. I'm planning on posting a video of the screen as I use it so people can see.
