Sorry for my ignorance - Why Stansfield had to contort his neck when taking pill? Is that how people always do when doing drug? Does it help to enhance the drug effects?

@RobtheZombie13- Thanks for the amazing post. I love this movie...one of my all-time favorites. However, your point lacks fluid coherence. You see, if he was making a choice to kill the "innocent" people, and doing so in clear conscience and mind, he would not need to use narcotics. I believe he takes the narcotics because he is unable to do it without them. Therefore, it shows a humanistic side of the sociopath. THAT is what makes him so amazing. The ability to juggle the personalities.

When he worked narcotics, Commissioner Gordon was known as a bloodthirsty killer who valued law and order more than human life. After a near-death experience with a hitman's grenade, he spent a lot of time in rehab reflecting on his bloody career. Since then, he suppressed these awful memories, trying to live peacefully as an honest police commissioner, while living vicariously through Batman. Just one slip and he'd go right back to slaughtering entire families in the name of the law.

@SSJSasuke777 no man is born evil. Most likely he had extremely troubling childhood with abusive parents or no parents. And the only thing that would help me go through life was Bethowen. Don't forget he is a cop, so its safe to assume that some time ago he wanted to "serve and protect" but now, hitting a depression he sinked to a level of a beast that clearly doesnt understand what's he is saying or doing. :(
