Sea Patrol - The Ties That Bind

This is the Sea Patrol video I really wanted to make, I can't get enough of these two. Dutchy and Kate are my favourite pairing on TV right now (possibly ever). Sorry if you don't ship them, you probably won't enjoy this vid. It's slightly AU in places, but I hope that adds to the drama :)

Mike: "X" you go with Dutchy
Dutchy: I don't need the "X."

XO: You just pushed me out the way on that boarding and I want to know why?
Dutchy: It was a natural protective thing
XO: Well here's a tip, next time don't protect me.

XO: Do you think Dutchy has what it takes to be Buffer of Hammersley?
Mike: He came highly recommended
XO: Well I have my doubts.

Dutchy: You've been looking into my personal affairs
XO: As your divisional officer, I'm entitled to.

XO: You had a chance to take the guy with a machete out
Dutchy: What are you trying to say X, that I let him attack you?
XO: I dunno Dutchy, you tell me.

XO: Do you really hate me that much?
Dutchy: What do you want me to say to you "X", that I'm sorry?
XO: No, I don't want your apology
Dutchy: Then what do you want?
XO: For you to trust me.

XO: I'm glad you're okay.

XO: This can't get personal between us now.

XO: I've been thinking about what you said the other day...you can't help who you fall in love with.

Dutchy: Yes you can.

I have never seen this show before, but I found this video through a Neighbours video, and I adore the pairing. The show looks really good. Beautifully edited video.

@darkangelLL Hey darkangell, thanks for all the comments you left today. I really appreciate it and I'm glad you enjoy my work. Of the shows you listed in your other comment, I would say Rush is the best to check it. It's soon to return for a 4th season in Australia, so you've got a lot of catching up to do - but well worth it. Sea Patrol is also good, it ran for 4 seasons but is over now. the other show I'd recommend to you is Lost Girl, and maybe Flashpoint. Have a good weekend!

Great video! I LOVE Dutchy! And I am a Mike/ Kate shipper but I really enjoyed the Dutchy-Kate scenes on the show. I always wondered if Dutchy felt something for Kate... In some of the scenes I really thought so! I loved the scene were Kate was stuck in the mud and he put her over his shoulder hehehehe

I've commented in this video before, but I'm looking for inspiration to write another chapter of my D/K fic and couldn't resist to comment once again... I must say that this video is excellent!! You've captured their interactions so well..... I really wish the writer would dig deeper into a possibility of a romantic relationship between them.... If the show was extended for another two season, then it might happen.... but obviously.... It's finished now.... Anyway... thank you once again!

@freelancerxo02 Thanks for the recommendations. I'm watching Rush, and currently about to watch season 4 episode 1-3. I already watch Flashpoint, love that show, but I'm a little behind as I got into it late. I love pretty much any cop show. Rookie Blue is currently a favourite of mines. I have been trying to watch some Sea Patrol and watched quite a few now. Two shows that I had never seen to thank you for. I will try Lost Girls, as I love supernatural type shows too. So its next on my list.

omg *cries* I'm going to miss them. It your fault I fell in love with these two, I was a Mike and Kate shipper once upon a time. I'm not sure I like the idea of Dutchy going back to Afghanistan at the end of the series and Kate being pregnant and poor 2dads going awol. :(

Mike took Kate for granted too long. I wished they had finished the series with Kate leaving Hammersly because she wanted to be with Dutchy....awww...nothing better then a young studd! LOL
