People have invented hundreds of generators and such that would free us from having to work to pay for energy. These people are dead for the most part. You are poorly informed. I can't believe there is anyone who actually believes that oil is the only good answer. It could be replaced in a second if those in power would quit controlling and killing off inventiveness that they can't profit from.
Record gas prices is the result of Republicans and their constant extending the tit to oil companies and letting them control government. Oil is unevolved, cancer causing, and the reason so many have died in the Middle East. These dinosaurs have got to be removed from office. They want to keep us dependent on oil forever. The oil they've killed so many to get. Evolve America - vote OBAMA BIDEN. Remove the yolk of oppression. Republicans privitize the profits - Socialize the losses.

Everything you said is correct. I just think Obama would be a much better president. And I was rooting for McCain in 2000 and would've voted for him over Gore.
