  • And you and I can't do that.

  • That is so pretty. It has a real calming effect on me.

  • From what DVD is this video?

  • From what DVD is this video?

  • @jsmcguireIII i see what you mean its definately alot easier to get better quickly on the guitar because of youtube

  • @guitarreilly As a guitarist for over thirty years who reads staff and tabs, I can say from experience that bad fingering position habits are very hard to break, and learning the correct ones makes progress much easier. I am still re-learning songs from Youtubes of the original artists (Clapton, Jimmie, Jimmy Page, etc) that I had "wrong", and which made transitions, arpeggios and voicings much more difficult. It is a tremendous resource for musicians. Nothing replaces you ears.

  • @jsmcguireIII its better to learn by ear in the long run to have a good ear is a very important thing in music

  • @jsmcguireIII ...I hear u but even still hard viewing then playing even now?!? a master what can I say? muscles in his fingers and stretch is amazing even to watch.

  • @34tgroan I am sure there are times when a sweet series of chords or picks "comes to you", something new yet strangely familiar at the same time. Record them in any way you can, no matter how short they are, and then piece them together with your heart and you are well on your way my friend. I never thought I could play Roundabout until one day I broke it down and realized the beauty is in its small simple parts...all strung together.
