So Long Ago, So Clear - Vangelis - Heaven and Hell - Cosmos

This beautiful composition - So Long Ago, So Clear - was written by Vangelis with words by Jon Anderson. It was originally included within Vangelis' brilliant 1974 album Heaven and Hell. This also provides the "Music of the Cosmos" which was used as the opening and incidental music for "Carl Sagan's" epic COSMOS - A Personal Voyage - that was broadcast in 1980.

This personal intepretation of So Long Ago, So Clear from Vangelis' epic Cosmos Suite - Heaven and Hell - is performed by transgendered musician Denise Hewitt on a vintage 1990's Technics PR60 Digital Keyboard.
