He is asked a very specific question about how to deal with our emotions, the ones that involve hatefull words and produce challenges, and then he goes on with a whole speach on everything else than what he is asked about!

I found the answer very on target. He says right in the beginning that what has happened is that we have strayed from the Divine teachings and this straying leads to living in the world of creation. When we do not follow the Divine laws and neglect to avoid the prohibitions we will find ourselves invovled with living from our egos and having many challenges

yea yea... but its too general an answer which can be used for just about any spiritual problem.

I dont think u know what a relevant and "on target" answer means... i was myself a teacher in yoga, and i know what it means to explain theoretical stuff. And i know, if u dont answer short and relevant the students will ask again. and if they dont it means they lost interest and will most propably not come again.

no one has the patience today to listen to long speaches to a specific question

personally don't believe in short answers to questions and prefer understanding the theory behind what is happening

This teacher works for me and i have never lost interest in over a decade of following him

and I am not alone

no, ofcorse not to all questions. some are to complex or advanced and need thorough explanation. but here he is just asked a simple question about how to deal with hate. how to prepare oneself for that. and he actualy doesnt give anything practical the student can do, only a broad story of the decay of our society and loss of faith in the divine.
