LOL I just picked up captain power just the other day. I was blown away when I saw it! I loved that show back in the day and forgot all about it. But for 18 bucks at walmart how could I not get it! It is a great set with killer extras, but yes I agree a horrible name.

I was not going to get the Futurama Bly rays since I have them on DVD but after seeing the extras list now I really want them. The Captain Power set will definitely be picked up, but yes the title is a bit off and had I not seen your videos I might have just passed the series by due to the name. Anyway great video and Marry Christmas.

@Zaranyzerak I agree with that, at my place we use the Playstation 3 for movies, games and music, we have actually worn one out and are on the second one. :O

@RushBeatles It's DNRed to the point of everyone looking like wax figures, the backgrounds are a smeared mess, in short a complete disaster. What really stinks is it was shot on 70mm. The detail level should be STUNNING, but they majorly screwed the pooch. Take whatever that site says with a grain of salt, especially their early reviews like that where they had little to no understanding of film grain and often gave piss poor releases top marks.

@Zaranyzerak Thanks for the info. Usually their reviews are helpful. It steered me away from the Ultimate Hunter Edition of predator. The screenshots of that edition are pretty horrible, they LITERALLY look like wax. on DVD it was over applied edge enhancement that companies liked, I guess now its over applied DNR.

@RushBeatles Yeah, fortunately extreme cases like Patton and Predator don't occur that often anymore. But it pays to get your info from a variety of sources before parting with your hard earned cash!
