More Than That...chapter 21

Sorry it's been a real long time, just trying to get back into the swing of things ....even if no one is reading.


I know after all that's happened and me wanting to take it slow, the moment he said he wanted to find a place to move into with him I starting shouting.
April: yes, yes I would love to move in with you.
I jumped out of my seat and thru my arms around his neck. I must have looked so desperate to get out of this house, but it wasn't that at all I was just really excited to start my life. I know we are doing this a little out of order but why not. I pulled away and thought Nick must think I'm crazy right now he's gonna have a second thought about this.
Nick: are you serious
April: yes I would love too
Nick: I wish I had thought of that earlier before all this stupid fighting
April: oh stop, we've moved on
Kevin: Well your sister hasn't
April: I'll deal with Kelsey later in the meantime, I want to talk more about this wonderful idea you have.
I'm so glad Nick and I finally came to an agreement on something we both wanted. A couple of hours had gone by and I realized that I still had to talk to my sister about all of this. I went to go look for her and she was locked in her bedroom.
April: (knocks on door) Kelsey, let me in
Kelsey: why should I
April: I don't know why your taking this personally
Kelsey: I hate being the last to know about everything
April: you weren't, he hadn't even asked me yet
Kelsey: I know I mean about everything, I feel like everything is just moving to fast for you and your just oblivious to it. '
April: no, I'm not going to fast if I was going to fast I would have said yes to his proposal or yes to him asking to have another child. Why would moving in with him be so bad?
Kelsey: because.....
April: because I'm doing everything before you, that's why isn't it. You've been with Kevin for so long and none of this is happening to you, isn't that right?
I stormed out before I could even get an answer out of her. I know I was probably a little to harsh on her but I can't do this anymore, she has to stop treating me like a little girl. I'm someone's mother for god sakes. I went back to Nick and told him I wanted to do this as quickly as we possibly could.
