Storm Edges Mill Rats in Overtime

The Summerside Storm claimed their first win at Harbour Station against the Saint John Mill Rats with a score of 108-107 in front of a crowd of 1, 940

Both teams battled through a tough game with the score clock never showing a double digit point spread. The Saint John Mill Rats led the whole game until the last quarter where the Storm picked up pace, tying the game 97-97, bringing it into overtime. The Mill Rats fought hard against the Storm down to the last overtime buzzer which ended with a three pointer from leading scorer Anthony Anderson.

Anthony Anderson was the leading scorer for the Mill Rats with 25 points and second leading scorer of the game, falling one point short of Summerside's Mike Williams who scored 26 points. Antoine Tisby and Marc Egerson both netted 18 points. Newly signed 7-foot-2 centre Jared Carter from the Storm was the second leading scorer with 21 points.
