iWavit Tabula Rasa: Downloading online remotes

In this video, we demo the iPhone and iPad app called "Tabula Rasa" (or Tabula Rasa HD). This app is the blank slate on which your can create your own masterpiece remote control. It is an app which turns your iPhone into the ultimate remote control for controlling IR devices as well as computers.

One of the great features of Tabula Rasa is that it is possible to share (upload) virtual remotes that you have made, and conversely to download virtual remotes that others have made. In fact, this is one of the most exciting features about the Tabula Rasa app.

This demo show an example of how to search the iWavit Tabula Rasa online remote control database, and how to download a remote onto your iPhone.

It really is very simple. Imagine, John in San Jose could be creating a functional and artistic remote control for the brand new TV you just bought. He uploads it and now you can download his remote and within seconds be controlling your TV.




(You can of course also use the Remote Control Wizard inside the Tabula Rasa app to create your new remote, but people tend to be a bit more artistic and imaginative.)
