As an avid Beatles fan, I can tell you 110% this recording IS from 1960 AND it is NOT fake. It comes from home recordings The Beatles made on a reel-to-reel
tape recorder ( a Grundig tape recorder, I believe), and may have been recorded at Paul's house. There were approx. a dozen or less songs on the tape, which in post-Beatles times found their way on to bootleg records.

It doesn't sound like Paul vocally or the Beatles instrumentally. And the audio sounds more like an attempt to sound old rather than a real recording of the era. Of course these are just my opinions, and I would be glady proven wrong...

@walrusz i completely respect your opinion, and i do see where you are coming from, but this does sound like their original playing style before they progressed as musicians, and the recording was obviously poorly done for the time, so i think that added the extra deepness in paul's voice, the only fact i know from all of this is that the song was written in this time before their first album.

Sorry, but if you're referring to this recording to come from 1960 I believe this to be fake...
