How to connect a stackmat timer to a computer

Checklist:
HARDWARE:
1) use a stackmat with an output
2) buy a stereo jack cable with 3,5mm on each end
3) buy an adapter with 3,5mm (on the hole) and 2,5mm (on the other side)
4) plug the adapter in one end of the cable
5) put the 2,5mm end into the stackmat timer and the 3,5mm end into the microphone input

SOFTWARE:
1) Download CCT (CalCubeTimer) here: http://cube.garron.us/cct/
2) if necessary download the latest Java Software here: http://java.com/
3) check your microphone settings
4) run CCT and setup the timer correctly

Great man.

I can use it, but when the stackmat is on, it makes a really annoying noise in the speaker... I tried changing some options, but i can't make it go away...

is nen geiles vid! also ich hab meine stackmat heute bekommen, und nun natürlich auch versucht sie zu verbinden mit cct. ging aber nicht. ich bin alle mixer durchgegangen. keiner läuft.

ich bin in die systemeinstellungen gegangen. habs dort auch genauso gemacht wie du. nichts läuft. dann hab ich nen PC neustart gemacht. immer noch nichts. was jetzt?

ich hab nen kleines problem ich hab alles so gemacht wie du aber wenn ich den mixer einstelle passiert nichts also des mit den zahöen kommt nich und wenn ich es ausprobieren will steht da dass mein timer off ist dabei habe ich ihn bei apply und save an gehabt und danach auch weißt du woran das liegen könnte ?
