A Jemi Love Story-Chapter 5-Part Two


Nick- I just looked at Joe,a slow smile stretching my cheeks.Joe looked at me,
"Why are you--?"I didn't let him finish.I tackled him and knocked him to the ground,again.This time Kevin grabbed me by the arms and pulled me off of Joe.
"Ok guys knock it off!" He said,trying not to smile and using what he thought was his best authoritive voice,Ha! It just made me and Joe laugh.
"Ok so tell us the whole story." I said,when we finally quit laughing.
"Well...."he said, and told us everything, from the time they saw each other til when they left.
"So she said she missed us?"Kevin asked,looking surprised.
"Yeah,but I wish she would've said she missed me." he said,looking all sad.
"Dude,you know she probably did.Did you say you missed her?"I asked,knowing he probably didn't.
"Well...I said we missed her."he said,looking kinda sheepish.
"See?You did the same thing she did.When you really missed her right?"I asked,watching his face light up.
"Of course!I've missed her like crazy."he said, I knew he meant it too.
After the tour ended,he moped around the house for a month.He's still been kinda mopey lately.I'm glad they ran into each other cuz I don't think I could stand any more of Joe's moping.
"So is that all that happened?"I asked.
"Oh yeah! I asked her if she wanted to hang out with us Saturday night and she said yes!" He said grinning and jumping around like a crazy person.I hadn't seen him this happy in a long time.
"That's great man!"Kevin said,slapping Joe on the back.
"I know!" Joe said, still smiling.
"Oh and I told she could ask Selena if she wanted to come too.But if that would be like weird or something, I can call her and tell her she can't come."Joe said,reaching for the phone.
"No! I mean uh,no that's not weird,its fine."I said,my face feeling hot.Kevin and Joe started laughing.
I couldn't believe I was gonna get to see Selena! Kevin and Joe exchanged knowing grins.They knew I liked her but I just wouldn't admit it.
"I figured you'd say that,maybe i'll text Selena and tell her how excited you are to see her Nick."Joe said,grinning.
I thru a pillow at him and hit him smack in the face,he started laughing cuz I knew my face was red.
"I can't wait for Saturday."Joe said,getting this dreamy look on his face.I couldn't wait either,but I wasn't going to say it out loud.
So I just kinda smiled and started thinking about what we'd do Saturday....only two days away...
