Try practicing long tones (start on one note, hold it for two beats,and then slur to the note that is a half step down/up from it and hold it for as long as you can). It will help with your sound, your memorization of the notes, and hitting the notes.

Also, try focusing on the extreme registers (basically Low E to Low Bb and High B to however high you can hit) a lot and you will have less trouble hitting the notes in them. Remember, you will only improve if you work on the things that you are bad at.
