    Also, try focusing on the extreme registers (basically Low E to Low Bb and High B to however high you can hit) a lot and you will have less trouble hitting the notes in them. Remember, you will only improve if you work on the things that you are bad at.

  • Try practicing long tones (start on one note, hold it for two beats,and then slur to the note that is a half step down/up from it and hold it for as long as you can). It will help with your sound, your memorization of the notes, and hitting the notes.
