Yes bleach can kill plants, grass, and other damage if used incorrectly, but is the most cost affective additive to kill the mold, mildew & algae on siding. Unless properly trained homeowners should never try this. This is an inexpensive home improvement that should be left to a Professional Pressure Washing Company.

you really shouldn't point up like that, you're going to get water in behind the siding, which can mould and cause decay..
