I don't know what they mean by "Most dangerous taxi ride in the world." If they drove from Bethlehem to Jerusalem at this time, that means they had a driver with special plates which allowed them onto the highway system which connects the two (most Palestinians aren't allowed). Otherwise, he would have driven in the West Bank, in a Palestinian taxi, to the check point, and I don't really see how that would be dangerous. You could have, at any time, gotten out of the taxi without danger.
