thanks for the video

hah if i tried to run shit like those effects on windows it would crash all over the place
-
Agreed, those settings suck. But the effects are extremely customizable, you don't have to use those. I use the default ones myself. And tbh they rock :P

All the window effects are way too gimmicky. And the context menu thing. Horrible! They look like that terrible wobbly effect that's the cliché for going into dream sequences on TV. That cliché's a joke for a reason.

how do i get his on my linux?
-
Certainly, but it's getting easier very rapidly. Linux has come a long way!

I agree it looks great. I got Vista and I agree Linux is a lot better. I got Suse9.0 to compare. But the main draw back of Linux compared to Windows, is that any idiot (like me, no expert) can use windows. Linux is great but when it starts to fail, you spend so much time fixing it, frustrating. The point is, make it easy to use, easy to fix, understandable and make all compilations (>50!) compatible so you spend time having FUN. You succeed, Microsoft goes bye bye.

what program did you use to make this video?
-
How do you install this?
I put the Ubuntu CD in, Installed the package, and I dont know what to do after that
Depends on if he's using Nvidia card! If so and using the Beta driver, Xgl is now included and fully supported. Beryl is right cuz it takes the place of Compiz. So could be using AIGLX, but more likely with the speed it's using Xgl within the Nvidia driver. Only saying this cuz it could be either! Nice though!
