  • Btw both girls in the ad are Indian

  • Yeah, but when a white person/woman wants to have a darker skin you wouldn't say it's rasist. Cut the crap, stop seing rasism everywhere and stop feeling sorry for yourselves all the time. There are so many commercials where white women want to have darker skin and so on and nobody cares about it and calls it rasist. Open your eyes a little bit and stop constantly calling everything and everyone rasist.

  • @isaideatcake uh, thats an extremely stupid argument. And British films ? Srsly ? AHAHAHHAHAAHAH.

  • Tanning is also a factor

  • @sf49ersrule

    i agree

bollywood isnt even bollywood anymore, they trying too hard to appeal to the intentional market - not working, cause thats why theres hollywood and english (british) movies

  • not that she wasnt pretty

just cause she was light skinned

    freaking low minded people

me and my cousin were wearing similar clothing and she told me, "u have lighter skin then my daughter. thats why u look nicer"

    OKAY u have issues lady!

  • i am indian and i find this stupid

i guess people in india just find lighter color people "prettier" which is stupid

my aunt came here to the US last year & a few months ago we were at a temple where a girl came in, she looked like if she was domincian or french - but she looked white (i know dominicans are hispanich not white)i told my aunt she goes to my school & that shes indian as well..she was like "shes indian?,she looks white. shes beautiful."

an my aunt just saw da left side of her -_-

  • Yes, "sickening" is the best word.

  • I'm SO ashamed to be Indian right now.

  • it is sad that Indians try to be whiter, but being an Indian i can vouch for many Indians in saying that we are culturally more attracted to whiter skin. As one of the reporters mentioned, people try to get darker in in the US, so it goes both ways. It is not racist, but a cultural thing. However, with this said, I agree ultimately we should all be comfortable in our skin.

  • typical bollywood. Indians need to stop westernizing themselves so much. Makes my feel ashamed.

  • INDIA IS SO SAD
