They are Alpine goats. And, they have all just been bred so we can expect up to six kids in the Spring!

@mahafakir I am not 12, and withheld milk cannot be removed from the udder without drugs. "You cannot remove all of the milk from the udder. Approximately 10-15% of the milk remains in the udder as residual milk. " from thecattlesite [dot] c o m /articles/714/milking-practice­s-recommended-to-assure-milk-q­uality-and-prevent-mastitis. It also mentions dipping, just to prove u know nothing.

@mahafakir Withheld milk is not "Free Floating" in the cisterns of the udder, withheld milk is in the mammary tissue in the udder. Stimulation has no effect on withheld milk. Mastitis occurs in the Cisterns of the udder when bacteria enter into it, the cows immune system fights the infection causing clotting of milk and the blocking of the teat end. Dipping is to prevent bacteria entering into the teat end 10 minutes after milking.

@MF6465 And you get a failing grade. There is no proof that coating the teats with Iodine mix prevents Mastitis. The only way to prevent Mastitis is to prevent the udders from having milk that is not absorbed in its tissue. If the udders of the cows are not stimulated there will be no free floating milk in the udder and there will be no mastitis. But if this is not the case your dip will not pprevent Mastitis. I think you work for a company that sells such a dip. The matter is closed.

@mahafakir I wrote a 2500 word assignment on mastitis control for my DEGREE IN AGRICULTURE no more than 3 months ago, so yes i do know something about cows. Also if you cut your self u disinfect it..... iodine can be used. Also iodine is a post dip, after milking, and the cows teats are cleaned before milking. The iodine doesn't enter the udder and therefore the milk at all.

@HvensFury What ever the type of goats do not buy milk of the goats r cows if their owners dips their teats in commercial dips like the one in this video n ceretainly not from MF6465. His animals r mistreated n stressed out and the milk is poisoned by the dip the teats of his animals are dipped in. Be bold. Tell people where u sell your milk so they can stay away from the milk of your animals.

Where did u get the idea that after the teats are squeezed the germs enter the teats so u dip their teats in Iodine dip. Let me ask u to do something. Make a cut in your hand and dip it in this dip.. Don't tell me the strength of the iodine? And u are filling the milk with this solution. u have become a pain in my ass. U r replying to my comments even when u know nothing.
