Guys, stop complaining about how she killed so many great characters. A good author must kill people the readers like, because if she writes "Voldemort killed 20 people", you don't care about it, you didn't know them. Only if she writes "Voldemort killed Ron", you really get how terrible it is, and that's what makes you want Voldemort destroyed, that's what makes you really care about what happens.

to me it seemed like she killed dobby to show that there is a war now and even though harry is a super hero in each book he dosent feel like one, he is just a boy with a horrible past and is loving in every way possible

I heard instead of killing Sirius she considered killing Arthur but imagine had Bellatrix hit ROn instead of Sirius. It would of been interesting had she let Sirius live. I think it would of been awesome had Bellatrix survive and we find out in the epilogue that Bellatrix arrives at the train station with Bellatrix and Voldemort's child

Darn, I'm torn in two here. I loved Ron as a character, but as a little girl, I so wanted Hermione to go with Harry. >_< I remember wanting to foam at the mouth when I realized Hermione was leaning more towards Ron, but then I just said "Oh well, I'll just keep reading. Maybe she'll throw us HarryxHermione fans a bone." and she did. :) Sort of. It was kind of worth it to wait since I was 9 years old to see the final movies and read the final books.

She probably had to kill off so many good characters because thats what makes people continue to read. It may be sad but she was right to kill them off. If she had killed Ron that might have meant that she might have kept Fred alive and have Fred and Hermione get together. That was an original plan but the she thought it would be better to have Ron and Hermione together.
