actually it does.. ever heard of genetics... maybe Jal has someone in her famliy light..like a grandmother or something... somethings looks skips generations.. my mom is dark skin and i am light skin.. took after my grandma so see.. these things skip generations.. hence why we just say black.. at the end of teh day Jal is still black
