The game between Croatia U20 and Serbia U20 became the last Quarterfinal battle at the U20 European Championship Men 2010. It became also the most interesting game of the day and the most exciting. Delas scored the final points in the last seconds to celebrate 76:75 win with Croatia. Both teams exchanged the baskets in the first period. Radosevic made a dunk for 28:25, while Nedovic reduced to 28:27 with a minute in the half. Batur however sent the teams to the lockers making a jump shot for 30:27 halftime lead. Serbia came back with a better mood and percentage and grabbed the lead at the end of the third period. At first Milutinovic made it 50:44, while Croatia posted the last five points in the third quarter. Musli opened the last stanza for 52:49 and Nedovic later made it 54:51. Jaramaz made a jump shot for 58:53 to upset the hosts. Mitrovic made a jump shot for 62:56 and then Jaramaz and Batur exchanged the shots from the perimeter. Musli took 67:61 advantage with the guests as he scored his 17th point with 2 minutes in the game. Again Djekic and Butorac scored a three-pointer each for 70:66 advantage with 45 seconds in the game. Mitrovic made the score 73:67 from the free throw line, while Butorac immediately posted a shot from the perimeter for 73:70 with 14 seconds. Zubcic reduced to 73:72 with 12 seconds and Mitrovic increased to 75:72, while Butorac made two free throws for 75:74. He missed the third free throw but Delas grabbed the rebound and scored the final points for 76:75 victory. Delas top-scored for the winners with 16 points to advance to the semifinals with the hosts. Radosevic nailed 14, while Batur posted 11. Musli answered with 17 points in the losing effort, Mitrovic netted 16 and Subotic added 12.

El Caja Laboral ha confirmado el fichaje de la joven promesa del baloncesto serbio, el pívot Dejan Musli, por cinco temporadas.

Musli, que estuvo a prueba en el Caja Laboral durante diez días el pasado mes de septiembre, estampó su firma en el contrato una vez finalizada la sesión de entrenamiento matinal de la plantilla baskonista.

Dejan Musli nació en Prizren hace 19 años, mide 2,12 y procede del FMP Belgrado. El nuevo fichaje baskonista es considerado como una de las perlas de la generación del 91. La pasada temporada disputó 14 partidos de la Liga Adriática con una media de 10,9 minutos, 2,8 puntos y 2,4 rebotes.

El prometedor pívot balcánico aspira a quedarse en la primera plantilla que dirige Dusko Ivanovic, si bien su falta de experiencia en la élite del baloncesto internacional puede provocar que finalmente sea cedido.

El fichaje de Musli implicaría la marcha del ala-pívot Florent Pietrus, con contrato temporal hasta mediados de este mes. Pese al buen rendimiento del francés, éste no se ajusta al perfil de cinco puro que busca el club como complemento de Stanko Barac.

Además, la reglamentación vigente en la ACB obliga al Baskonia a prescindir de uno de los dos jugadores para cumplir los cupos.
