In this scene, Old Master Q and friends, as well as Water Margin hero Wu Song, must appear in court to face charges of fighting and injuring the judge's god-son, although in actuality, the god-son accidentally jumped out a high window during a scuffle with Old Master Q and friends.

I don't know a whole lot on the judicial systems back in ancient China, but I think that any disrespectful behavior usually resulted in severe punishment, torture or even death. Also funny to note that Big Potato breaks the fourth wall by talking about Alfonso Wong's apparent laziness.
