**NOTE: This is TAKEOFF ONLY!!!*** No complaints!

Many people are new to the world of Microsoft Flight Simulator. This simple video tutorial will help most newbies get off the ground, at the very least. This will work with any sim between FS2002 and FSX, and any medium-range business jet.

Remember to turn on Pitot Heat as well. Hit Shift+H.

Missed anything? Would you like me to do one for a specific aircraft? Let me know! Enjoy!

  • @kirza94 @jacobs088 I thought I had posted a reply but apparently it didn't work, so I apologize. From Wikipedia:

"A pitot-static system is a system of pressure-sensitive instruments that is most often used in aviation to determine an aircraft's airspeed, Mach number, altitude, and altitude trend."

You'll notice if you don't turn it on and fly high, the airspeed indicator will get iced over and get stuck at 0. Therefore, turning it on unclogs the tubes and gives you an accurate reading.

  • witch simulator is this looks like fsx

  • Great takeoff... and frames. I'm a little upset because I bought FSX and all it does is run slow! What are your computer specs? I have an i5 with 512MB of NVidia. The computer itself is only a year old and runs FS2004 full settings at around 50-60 fps. Thanks.
