Predictions for UFC 141. The main card fights consist of: Brock Lesnar vs. Alistair Overeem, Donald Cerrone vs. Nate Diaz, Jon Fitch vs. Johny Hendricks, Alexander Gustafsson vs. Vladimir Matyushenko and Jim Hettes vs. Nam Phan.

This is Chris. I only missed two of my predictions. I'll have more to say in the post fight analysis, but with Hendricks KOing Fitch and Overeem TKOing Lesnar, it was a fun and newsworthy show.

@kripsak: I am really bad about how a fight will end, but with Volkmann, I can see a decision finish. Escudero should be good enough to defend any submission attempts, but I can see him get taken down over and over. Escudero's usually has good cardio, but he is taking the fight on short notice. Most of Ramos's wins are by decision, and Riddle is generally a tough guy, so I can see the fight going to decision.

@kripsak: Njokuani will be the superior striker, and Castillo has been known for disregarding his wrestling to stand and trade. If Castillo uses his wrestling though, it will be over for Njokuani. With Volkmann vs Escudero, Escudero is taking the fight on short notice. Volkmann should be the superior wrestler, and I can see him taking Escudero down. Escudero though should have the superior standup.

UPDATE: TJ Grant is out of his fight against Jacob Volkmann, and Efrain Escudero is now going to fight Volkmann. Also, Ramsey Nijem is out of his fight against Anthony Njokuani, and Danny Castillo is now going to fight Njokuani. I have Volkmann beating Escudero and Njokuani beating Castillo.

@Pharellman456: I'm actually getting a bit daring here as I am going with a lot of the strikers in the striker vs grappler matchups. I'm going with Gustaffson, but Matyushenko could easily turn this into an ugly fight.

UFC 141 was pretty good tonight IMO. So happy Overeem beat Lesnar and Diaz vs. Cerrone was one hell of a fight.

@Chris, Out of Ramos & Volkman fights, how would you rank them most likely to win their bout?

I feel Ramos winning his bout, then Volkman having the least chance out of the 2 fights to win their bout.

Appreciate the insight.

@Gobusiness123 Thanks, for the breakdown...These 2 fights I didn't want to touch now due to the change up, just a little to risky to put some money on these fights. Castillo really looked on his last fight, but Njokuani is the better striker, really risky to bet on this fight. As for Volkman, I like his chances but Escudero has some power in his hands, making this a risky fight too. Oh well I got a over a week to think about the other fights.
