My elementary school had pulls just like that. The klaxons looked a bit like ox yokes and I haven't been able to figure out exactly what model they were. Probably Standard Electric of some sort, but Google isn't being very helpful

What?

one time when i was in kindergarten, the fire alarm flushed away but they fixed it!
-
i have that pull i will post a video.

Some of the buildings at my college have those pulls. A couple of them have their original signals intact (Standard 450 horns on flush-mount light plates), but others had them replaced with either SpaceAge Electronics horn/strobes, Faraday U-NH-MCS horn/strobes or remote strobes retrofitted on the old light plates

Is it that loud that it disrupts the camera audio?

It's hard to hear you when the bell is going off

Yes, that tends to happen when I record video with a cheap digital camera...

Three schools I went to had those bells, in march time.
The first, was one of my elementary schools, and it was set to slow march time (like the one in the vid.
The second was at another elementary school I went to, but in fast march time.
The third was at my my cousin's high school, and in fast march time.
All three locations had their fire alarm systems replaced unfortunately :(

Yeah you don't see too many of these systems anymore...in my opinion the bells are a much better notification appliance then piezoelectric horns; however, no one asked me :)
