  • Five by Five was a band from Magnolia Ark, led by Ronnie Plants. Their big claim to fame was their charting version of the Hendrix classic, "Fire". "Apple Cider" was written & first recorded by People (who had a hit with "I Love You".) "Cider" for the 5x5 was released in the spring of 1969. Thanks for posting.
