BBC2 joins BBC1 before midnight on New Year's Eve 1999 for the chimes of Big Ben to bring in the new millennium.

Features the closing credits of Goodbye to the Nineties, the millennium dome, Big Ben and the River Of Fire on the River Thames.

I do apologise for the poor quality of this clip. This is due to the fact I had very poor TV reception at the time and that the VHS tape has deteriorated. However, I thought it was worth sharing nonetheless!
