What happens when you take a wrong turn into a bad neighborhood and the local hoodlums decide they want your car? So they jump out in front of you and your Volvo stops automatically when the logical thing to do would be to floor it. This is just one example of where the computers do not know every facet of a situation and should not be allowed to override the driver. Idiots who need this kind of device probably should not be behind the wheel.
