@Axxrat It's a phenomenon that has appeared over the last decade. The riff raff not used to flying ever before are clapping upon landing. It is most common on Ryanair flights but not unheard of on some Easyjet flights as well as other low cost airlines. Remember these people could never afford to fly before, so we are essentially encountering the barrel dregs of society on these flights.

2.07 just at the end of the wing tip you can see the new terminal being built, it's finished now and a new runway will be finished by January 2012 I believe.
