At CPAC 2011, Newt Gingrich proposes replacing the EPA with the Environmental Solutions Agency, which would incorporate the necessary statutory responsibilities of the old EPA while eliminating the job-killing regulatory abuses and power grabs of the old EPA. This would be achieved by bringing together science, technology, entrepreneurs, incentives, and local creativity to create a cleaner environment through smarter regulation.

  • @ZatDudeOnline I'm sorry, but why do you care about the extinction of insect species, which frankly speaking, you've never even heard of before and probably never will?

This is the problem with radical single-issue environmentalists. To the green extremists, any environmental issue, by its very nature, takes priority over any issue concerning human beings. Environmentalism has become a deeply and profoundly *anti-humanist* movement.

  • The Ron Paul advertisement was most interesting. I've nearly given up on both corrupt parties but I'm beginning to realize that Ron Paul has always been ahead on the issues. The controversial things he says today will be the mainstream position in two years. This guy knows what's happening to us. It's time to end The Empire, end the occupation of Europe to end WW2, and start minding our own business for a change. Let counties fight their own battles. EVERYONE gets the government they deserve

  • The EPA is marxist and far left and those who defend it are mostly anti-capitalist marxist themselves whether they know it or not..

  • @HayPennie I did, and most articles really don't have any concrete evidence. I did the research, and couldn't find this proof, other than a few FoxNews articles which NO ONE SHOULD TRUST! I don't want to hear 1000's of cases; instead, please let me hear of just ONE...verifiable abuse that hurts both the environment and jobs. You can't. Nuff said

  • So you're saying that you're for the extinction of various species so we can have a few extra jobs? I'm all for saving lifeforms that have been here for millions of years, because who really knows what will happen if we lose them. Look at the shocking decline in bee populations. If we eliminate the protection of the EPA, then bees might become endangered, then extinct. If that does happen, our entire world will collapse. To say this is ok is to admit to being a terrorist.

  • @ZatDudeOnline P.S. If you really want to learn how gov't agencies abuse their power then just google it dude. Search 'Regulatory Abuses of the EPA' - and go from there. But - I don't think you actually do want to read anything that might prompt you to think critically, but since there's this big info-engine, known as the internets, you can do your own homework. Don't ask me to lay out the 1000s of cases in 150 word comments when all you have to do is step outside of your bubble and look.

  • @ZatDudeOnline I never said the EPA has never done anything of value. But the EPA, as well as most large bureaucracies now possess far more power than they are appointed under the constitution to the point where they cause more harm than good. Look up what 'Eminent Domain' is, for starters. Then look up how farms & businesses are shut down in order to protect obscure insects & fish, causing hundreds of families to go broke and prices of food and other products to skyrocket. Get a clue.

  • @HayPennie Can you please support your claim that eliminating the EPA would be a good thing? No you can't. However, I can prove that the EPA has been very beneficial over the years.(with thousands of sources). You might want to actually research their benefits before you comment again.

  • @AUSM92 Replacing it is the only way to slay the dragon. The dragon can be replaced by a puppy.

  • @ZatDudeOnline Yeah, that's what he said. He said to kill every species and ourselves. Give me a break. You really believe that the EPA, in its current form, is the only thing standing between us and destruction? That's pure ideology - not science. Listen to the video again - and try to avoid the adolescent, knee-jerk self righteous alarmism. Anyone who puts all their faith in massive government agencies needs to have their head examined.
