"The stone that the builders refused" is a reference to psalm 118:22, the stone being Jesus Christ. He was refused by His people and inevitably killed because of the blindness of others. But it turned out that this "stone", Jesus, that the builders refused would become the capstone, the most significant stone in an arc, the stone that keeps everything together.

Damn, that's fucking deep.
