YouTube buggered this video with the CopyRight crap.
Turn on annotations to see the link to my other Through the Fire and Flames Cover, which is a better one anyway. Alternatively, you can find the newer one in the more list below the description, or you could check out my other covers.
So I finally upload a vid of me playing Through the Fire and Flames on the guitar. Not Guitar Hero, the actual electric guitar.
In fact, I'm really annoyed with the number of videos of people playing this song on Guitar Hero on Expert and getting 100% and stuff. I couldn't care less, because that's nothing but a game. A fun game, but if you're going to impress anyone, you'll get the temporary "awesome", but no lasting impression.
Right, back to this, I can't play all of it, some parts I just play the rhythm guitar, sometimes less, but most of it I've learned by ear, so chill.
Yes, the video's dark, no I don't talk, no there're no titles. No one needs to see my face, no one needs to hear my voice, and you already know the title of the video.
Before you say "You suck", because I know someone will, I've only been playing guitar for about one and a half years.

Video by my phone
Sound by my microphone headset
Actual song added manually
Edit:
Apologies for the brightness, I uploaded the non-contrast-corrected version.
Edit 2:
I have a Yamaha Legend guitar, with Gibson Brite Wires, and a Fender Frontman 15G.
And for those of you who want tabs for this, I don't have any. I am, however, making a lesson vid for the song, complete with tabs and all, but that'll take a while.
lies, there woulda been a thing at bottom of the video

I think I know what you're thinking, but this happened before that YouTube change occurred.
When this video was removed, it gave me the option of disabling sound, replacing the sound, or disputing the legal actions, and I chose to mute the sound, as it is now.
Later on, my Stricken and Fallen Leaves covers were slapped with copyright stuff, and would only allow me to swap sound, not mute it.
Every now and then YouTube updates.
E.G. Some vids don't even have proper comment replying...

What do you think of the Brite Wires compared to other strings? What other brands have you used?

I've only used two strings, the ones which came with the guitar and Brite Wires.
The Brite Wires are definitely better, hard to explain why though. The metal wrap-around on the E, A and G strings seem slightly finer than what came with the original guitar, smoother to slide up and down.
Apart from that, there's not too much difference.
