28-300 is not very sharp, which is expected , it's a super-zoom.

only buy this if image-quality is not important

but the practical issues of one-lens-that-does-it-all is crucial.

also it is a good video lens.

For about the same price you can get an

24-70_f2.8L + 70-200_f2.8L or 70-300_f4-5,6L,

24-105_f4L + 100-400_f4,5-5,6L

these will deliver much nicer images

(changing lenses isn't that big of a hassle & the nicer pictures are well worth it)

I recommend buying the EF 70-200mm f/2.8 L IS USM lens, it's better & more inexpensive than this shitty lens!

This is a crappy sales video. Nothing more. I own this lens and shoot with it all the time and though all the good points she says are correct, it's a fairly sharp lens, great for the mammoth focal range, what she doesn't tell you is that it is extremely heavy and huge! I am use to the weight because I shoot with a lot of pro Canon glass, but if you're just a hobbyist, the weight of this lens will shock you! Don't buy this lens thinking you can just drop it in a bag and run out and shoot.
