Two 100 pound atlas stones made with Quikrete 5000.
When we created these we used the plaster of paris/playground ball mold technique and inserted
a long bolt upside down the middle of the mold when we poured the concrete in with a long hex nut half screwed on the end so that the metal eye bolt can be screwed on or off depending what you want to do with the stones.

It makes them a much more versatile implement.
The concrete turned out a little rough here, not sure what happened.

Make sure to view it in HD!

  • Great job man!

  • think the roughness is down to air in the mix needed to vibrate it up and out of it .
