I would argue there is also a third group of people in the world, as I have attempted to share my obsession with a good number of people.. the end result of which has been pretty disappointing.

@samash092287 Yeah, I guess there's that. You really have to spoon feed it to them though. Just play them a song like Harvest, or Patterns in the Ivy or something. I got my mom to like Opeth, so I'm pretty sure that means it's possible for anyone.

@Rhaptapsody Good point. I usually start with The Moor or like April Etherial.. perhaps I should adjust my methodology.

@samash092287 Yeah, I'd say that's your problem right there. You can't just push them into the deep end right off; they have to wade in slowly. Start with something pretty.
