The thing is, if people wanted the world to die, shooting up a grocery store is going to kill around 50 people. With what they have in mind, that isn't nearly enough people dead. If they have a good reason to want to world to end, and not just because "it sucks", then shooting up every grocery store in the world still wouldn't be enough. It would never be enough.
