Yes, I've heard this quite frequently. In fifth grade history, I learned that there were mutinies. I don't worship Washington, nor do I think he was a particularly good general. However, he best embodied the ideals of this country, ideals the whole world should follow, of liberty, property, and discipline through morality.
Howard Zinn supporters endorse communism, a system that executes people for allegedly thinking of mutiny. What is their problem with Washington's actions here?
