Religion is a filter that you use in this life. It is useful for some people to control their behaviors and attitudes. In between lives, you don't need a filter.

I love newtons work, but I am one that has actually felt in whole the spirit of Jesus Christ. I have experienced his power inside my soul and know he is real. That does not diminish what Michael says, but I think he has a slight bias against anything even hinting to religion. That may not be so good since many people will not be ready for this stuff and the sole belief in Jesus is a great alternative. There is a great responsibilty and burden in this knowledge that some people are not ready for.

Past life memories are like when we get older and try to think of our first day in kindergarten. We may not remember every detail or even any of the details of that day, but we KNOW that it did happen. Past life memories happen spontaneously. We remember one of these memories and realize it is very much real, yet we cannot fit it into the context of our current life and so most kids will forget about it or they will just shake their heads and say it was nothing.

I had just bought a cross and put it around my neck for the first time, lying down in bed to rest. Instantly my body became paralyzed from my head to my toes and quickly engulfed in this warm, tingling sensation. It was 20-25 seconds of pure comfort and total peace.

The real God transcends all religions and has unconditional love for everyone and everything. He does not create, judge, and discard like you read about in a 3000 year old book.

I am one of those people. For instance, one day when I was a kid, I recalled a memory that my dad had shot somebody, even though my dad is one of the nicest guys in the world. I later confirmed it when my last life dad shot a musician in a bar-room fight. I have also confirmed over 20 other memories from that same life in vivid detail.

Every life that we remember must increase our comprehension of who we are. If we don't remember, it is because we are not ready for it or it won't help us.
