  • Gord is a true Canadian poet ,His music will live forever

  • I never, ever, get tired of listening to Gordon Lightfoot. His songs are so consistently great!!!

  • Great song and great playing.

  • I loved this song since I heard it for the first time. It goes slowly underskin during the listening and, to be frank i judge it the best from the album. I can't better exply but, beyond the meaning or absence of it there's a special feeling and tension in it.Paul

  • sometimes(after i get drunk) i feel like i can relate to this great artist.battlin wit addictions...neva makin his way to really mainstream audience but always being tru and beautiful

  • I got to see him live in Canada in the late 60's. It was an event.

  • I've always loved this song, especially the line "If you find me feeding daisies, please turn my face up to the sky/And leave me be, watching the moon roll by/Whatever it was, you know it was all because/I've been on the town, washing the bullshit down." A song about mortality...and yet there's an optimism about it. Great tune!

  • Have seen Gord 3 times, once 35 years ago. 2 times in the last 3 years. He's the best songwriter that ever lived IMO. This is my favorite. Thanks, the live ones on the tube aren't really worth listening to.

  • Fantastic album.
