Since the 2002 World Cup Buddhist Temple Stays have taken off in South
Korea. Tourists looking to experiance traditonal Korean values,
customs and traditions are spending 2 to 4 days at temples throughout
the country getting a crash course in how to be a monk. Many diplomats
stationed to Korea are also participating in the program in order to
get a better sense of the country and it's people.
I've put togther a story and images that would be of interest to your
readers giving a bit more insight into South Korea.

  • I agree with you!

  • The chanting is wonderfully peaceful and powerful!! It's called the Homage to the Three Jewels.
