  • That book is hundreds of pages of pure dread.

Read it and then mail your copy to the whitehouse and senate!

(the whole hour of this is on booktv dot com )

  • Charles Bowden's "Murder City" is a must-read for anyone trying to make sense of the ongoing debates concerning the U.S. - Mexico border, cross border migration, and drug policy. His blunt and cutting assessments are very much needed to overcome the all-too-common platitudes and partisan answers so frequently encountered whenever any of these subject are discussed.

  • I had nightmares after reading the book, especially about the sicarion being a cop.I feel really bad about what USA and the rest of the "free world" have done to the mexican population due to NAFTA and our drug use/abuse. Thx. Bowden for enlighting me all the way to Denmark.
