I had nightmares after reading the book, especially about the sicarion being a cop.I feel really bad about what USA and the rest of the "free world" have done to the mexican population due to NAFTA and our drug use/abuse. Thx. Bowden for enlighting me all the way to Denmark.

Charles Bowden's "Murder City" is a must-read for anyone trying to make sense of the ongoing debates concerning the U.S. - Mexico border, cross border migration, and drug policy. His blunt and cutting assessments are very much needed to overcome the all-too-common platitudes and partisan answers so frequently encountered whenever any of these subject are discussed.
