If you know Amiga, you know about the new X1000 and a new notebook by Amiga? Are they one and the same or different systems? It's a bit fuzzy at times.

They are PPC, like the IBM Power 5, but will the Amiga run IBM AIX?

I really want to know. It would be awesome since I can chuck the RS6000 and have a newer and smaller system for it.

Amiga was way ahead of its time. Glad to see its making a come back. Sometimes I wish Amiga had been a bigger success so we didn't have to suffer with Windows.
