Kung Fu refers colloquially to any individual accomplishment or skill cultivated through long and hard work. Wushu is martial art. People here in the US don't understand what real Chinese MA's are made of. You can't blame them though. They watch too many movies and the teachers that teach abroad are usually in for the money and have abide by the laws. In China they kick your ass to make you the best.

This is Sanda/sanshou (Chinese kickboxing) All chinese martial arts in china is called for Kung fu or Wushu both names are used. There are 1000 of styles of kungfu or wushu in china. So even kickboxing and wrestling styles in china is called for kung fu/wushu. They even use some other names for martial arts, it depends on areas. Names like kuoshu, chuan fa, Gung fu

this is muay thai. look at the wide spread arm placements. muay thai keeps your arms to the side rather than in front while many kung fu forms do.
