They should've gotten permission from Charles Schulz's and used Linus from the Peanuts comic strip instead of this generic character.
It's nice anyway though, and at least the blanket isn't moth-eaten or anything....

This clip also makes me want to get all snuggly under the blanket. Guess who with. ;)

Well, that just about covers it.

Aww! This one gives me the urge to cuddle up under the real thing; four stars!

You might want to contact Dave Sieg, I wonder if he'll let anyone hire out his Scanimate (I know it's a part of his post studio). As the old adage goes, it doesn't hurt to ask... :)

AFAIK, Dolphin has been out of business for a while now. There were about 8 Scanimate systems made, all installed and running at various post houses across the USA (Dolphin included), but now only 1 exists (and in full working condition even). It's owned by a fellow named Dave Sieg, who actually produced a documentary on the Scanimate and the people who designed and used them. He has a website, scanimate dot zfx dot com, and used to work on the Scanimate back in its heyday...
Me too! Imagine being all snuggly under a warm one during the winter, with your favorite food, all alone, and on your DVD player, all the TEC clips ever made. H-e-a-v-e-n.

And thanks a bunch for having all the TEC/Sesame St. clips up (I'm enamored that you have some directly from tapes from the CTW archives even, with slates & countdown & all)! Thanks!

You know, I almost said Scanimate, but I wasn't sure. Thanks for the confirm! And you're welcome... 'tis my pleasure :D

(cont. from prev. comment)
in the '70s that had a Scanimate, and from what I've researched, Dolphin did almost all of the scanimate-generated electronically animated segements for TEC, including the title sequence.
But please pardon me if I'm coming off a little bit pedantic, I just thought I would correct things....

Where are the Dolphin guys now? Any way modern production houses can hire them?
