  • Good lady Joanna Lumley

  • They won their court case, but it should never have had to take a court case to allow them to come and live here. Labour let all the parasites and thieves in from all around the globe, but when it comes to men that lay down their lives for us Labour tell them to piss off!?

The Labour government is a fucking disgrace to Britain and the British people.

  • Joanna Lumley - get your wallet out and start paying for the Ghurkas housing benefits, unemployment benefits, health care costs, education, language lessons, interpreters etc, etc, etc. After all, it was you who championed half of Nepal to come over here and set up tent !

  • The British led a massive campaign of deindustrialisation in India. Forced farmers to plant indigo and other crops that the british bought at massively cheap and fixed prices to fuel industry in Britain. Caused several famines in which millions of people died. Gave industrial contracts to british companies to fill while stopping any industry from starting in India. Jamshed Tata had to jump through hoops to start the first steel factory in India. British were scum and looking at you, still are.

  • We have given the Gurkhas their own autonomous region to govern . Dalits and poor and low caste people have affirmative action going on, with reservations in government jobs and colleges and universities. Things are improving at a rapid rate. Now for your other point, you robbed India dry, developed your own country and then installed a few trains, whoopee. India had the highest GDP in the world in the 1700's after 200 years of british rule it was the poorest country in the world.

  • @Mrwilwak Last time I checked "British" was not a race. I have nothing against Britian but this rosy picture you pain to the british rule in India is a lie. If you think the British East India company didn't rape and pillage India you are an ignoramus and you should wipe the drool off your chin before commenting.

  • @Mrwilwak You left all the colonies when you were asked to leave? wow, you must be delusional or retarded. Ten muslims who were recognised got corsses. How many who werent? If you are going to ignore the atrocities committed by the british, one can't take you seriously and treat you like an ADULT.

  • WE WANT MORE GURKAS LIVING IN BRTAIN...NOT MUSLIMS!!!! Get the Muslims out and Gurkas in!!!

  • @scouser69 10 muslims received the Victoria Cross, the highest award given to British and commonwealth servicemen during WW1 and WW2.

You British are a thankless lot. If it werent for Sikhs, Indians and Muslims you would have lost all positions in France in WW1 and never won africa and italy in ww2.

You should be ashamed of being British because you are a thieving, colonising, ungrateful bastard country who has built its fortunes upon the misery of the peoples of the colonies of Britannia.

  • Much respect to the Gurkhas. I'd gladly let all those who served their time in the army settle here. We could do with some people like them with discipline (myself included)!

  • It is shameful treatment for loyal soldiers.
