isnt black's aim is to do a draw??? since he at disadvantage
-
This lesson is very sloppy. After White plays Kd4 and Black responds with Kc2, you then take six moves to win the pawn. It takes only three moves to achieve this ... with Qc3, Kd3 and then Qd2.

AH! I drew a game 2 weeks ago from here, thank you!

@7003 a king and queen can also capture a queen on c3 since they can move in any direction but never a rook and knight because they cannot move diagonally!!! I was referring to a piece other than a pawn that is on the d2 square.
-
@7003 the pawn cannot capture pieces from behind, only in front of it and 1 square diagonally too so the pawn can only capture a piece like that queen if the piece is on square c1 or e1 on the bottom row of squares because it is moving downwards to us and not upwards!!! Only a bishop could capture that queen if she was on square c3 because bishops can capture pieces diagonally in any direction!!!

wow, amazing

how do I win if im black with the pawn?
-
I thought you were right for a second. the pawn is going the other way, so for it to take the queen, say at 5:41 said pawn would be going backwards.
the pawn can kill the queen

This is addressed lower down. The pawn is going the other way :)

why cant at 1:56 the pawn just kill the queen? its black turn and the queen is sitting there as a victim, then you just move your pawn up to the other side make it a queen and check mate the white's king, i'm sure there's some logic behind why this cant be done but i cant see it
