July 1st, not only a big day to celebrate the Birthday of Canada, the launch of my www.movernie.com website but also to pay tribute to a superstar Michael Jackson.
At least 30,000 people turned out at Dundas Square (Downtown Toronto) to have a great time, listening to MJ's hits songs. The crowd stretched from the stage all the way to the other side of the street, all the way to Eaton Centre. Everyone was dancing and having a great time together. Bringing back memories and sharing their experiences with each other. Due to the City strike, many events were forced to cancelled. This event was run by Manifesto, a grassroot youth organization. This showed the public that if you want to make it happen, local groups can make it happen and it was successful and peaceful event.
My entourage and I were very fortunate to be on the stage and dancing with the music all night long. MJ music definitely hit our hearts and rocked the place.
